In 1996, Mercedes introduced the ACTROS series in different variants. This vehicle is equipped with an M cab and a tipping container. Like all models in the CarMotion series, it has the following functions:

• Charging and programming connection
• Short charging times thanks to modern Li-Po batteries
• With one battery charge, a running time of approx. 4 - 6 hours is possible in normal driving with waiting times and different speeds, and approx. 2 hours at maximum speed
• Easy switching on/off using a reed contact under the roof of the driver's cabin with a magnetic pin or telescopic magnetic rod Art. 8410
• Infrared transmitter/receiver for distance control (only partially compatible with other IR systems)
• Realistic braking and acceleration processes and configurable speed thanks to speed-controlled motor
• Free loading area thanks to underfloor driveabin lighting
• Brake lights and reversing lights
• Right/left indicators and hazard warning lights can be controlled
• Low beam / high beamRoof indicators (depending on vehicle type)
• Visible driver's cabin with figure
• 5-pin plug-in coupling for connection of CarMotion trailers or semi-trailers
• Compatible with existing systems with contact wire or magnetic tape
• Control via infrared signals, permanent magnets Art. 8431 in the road, electromagnetic stop coils and remote control Art. 8402
