Skoda 1203 Ambulance is a version of the Skoda 1203 vehicle that has been modified for the needs of transporting patients and medical personnel. This car was produced between 1968 and 1982 and served mainly as an ambulance, but also as a vehicle for transporting people or cargo.
Skoda 1203 Ambulance was equipped with a special interior with stretchers, medical equipment and other necessary equipment for transporting patients. It was mostly powered by a 37 kW petrol engine and had a load capacity of 1,000 kg. The car was available in a short or long wheelbase version.
Skoda 1203 Sanitka was widely used in Czechoslovakia and other countries of the former Eastern Bloc as an ambulance vehicle and gained a good reputation for low maintenance costs. Today, a similar car is no longer produced in the Czech Republic, but it is still found in the depositories of medical facilities or in private collections.
