Double locomotive, each locomotive comes with controlled high-efficiency propulsion. 2 axles powered per locomotive, 4 traction tires. The locomotive has an mfx decoder with a sound effects generator (diesel motor operating sounds, bell, horn, braking sounds) and a Mars light that changes with the direction of travel and that can be controlled. The headlight changes over with the direction of travel and can be controlled digitally. The diesel motor sound effects, bell, horn, and the acceleration and braking delay can be controlled with a Control Unit or Märklin Systems. The braking sounds and the Mars light function in the upper headlight changes over with the direction of travel, is at the front of the locomotive, and can be controlled with Systems. The two locomotive halves are connected to one another electrically and mechanically with special couplings. The locomotive has close couplers in standard coupler pockets at the ends; these couplers can be replaced by an American knuckle coupler or a cover hatch. Minimum radius for operation 360 mm / 14-3/16
