The locomotive and tender are largely metal. Smoke insert installed as standard, with dynamic smoke emission depending on speed, digitally switchable. Three front reflectors on the locomotive and two front reflectors on the tender variable depending on the direction of travel are digitally switchable.  Digitally switchable lighting of the driver's cabin. Lighting using maintenance-free LEDs with warm white light. Adjustable kinematics of the short coupling between the locomotive and the tender. A short coupler kinematically fixed to the tender in the NEM shaft. Bumper height on locomotive and tender according to NEM.
