This model is based on the film Solino (2002) starring Moritz Bleibtreu. The story follows Romano and Rosa Amato, who emigrated to Duisburg in 1964 with their sons Gigi and Giancarlo – lured by the economic miracle and the hope of a better life. There, they opened a pizzeria, which they named after their home village of Solino. The model tells the story of this family and brings a piece of German film culture to your model railway – detailed and full of character.
